The contract DC/2022/01 mainly comprises construction of a drainage system intercepting the overflow drain at Cameron Road, Granville Road, Kimberley Road and Observatory Road, and further drain to a flood storage tank of 18,000m3 storge capacity. Under acceptable weather and sea tide condition, the stored rainwater will be pumped to the nearby box culvert which leads the drainage to Victoria Harbor.

	A stormwater pumping scheme beneath Urban Council Centenary Garden (UCCG) adjacent to Chatham Road South and Granville Road including an underground stormwater storage tank, a pump house, associated pipe works, electrical & mechanical (E&M) works
	Construction of break pressure chamber connecting to an existing box culvert and modification of the existing box culvert
	Drainage works by trenchless construction method beneath Chatham Road South, Austin Avenue, Observatory Road, Granville Road and Cameron Road
	Ancillary works include the restoration of the Centennial Garden of the Urban Council and the relocation and demolition of the LCSD toilets and related public facilities
