Abstract:
The speaker will introduce the safe operation of tower cranes and cases study in Hong Kong with emphasis on the tower crane near-miss, incident, accident occurrence and its preventive measures.

The safe operation of tower cranes is not only related to crane operators or plant owners but also involved different stakeholders such as the site management, supervisors and safety practitioners. The speaker will demonstrate on ways to minimize the accidents through the following agendas.
